Why is it so hard to find something that’s both comfortable and stylish?
I did my Bachelor’s in Textile Design, and growing up around beautiful fabrics in Jaipur, I always imagined pieces that felt desi yet modern.
Rooted, but effortless. Comfortable, but never boring. But when I looked around?

Clothing looked great on models… but not always on real women. So I thought fine, I’ll build it myself. I’m a perfectionist (the detail- obsessed kind). Emotional. Quiet. I may not talk the loudest in the room, but I notice everything.
And every tiny observation finds its way into my designs.
Akaay isn’t just a brand to me. It’s something I nurture every single day.

THE BRAND STORY
Akaay Stories began as a small seedling with a big intention:
to create pieces that feel as good as they look.
We started with bed linens that weren’t just cozy they had personality. Soft, luxurious, and far from basic. Then we stepped into apparel, carrying the same energy into clothing that feels light, breathable, inclusive, and real. No stiff fabrics.
No “suffer for fashion” rules.
No, looking good only in photos. We create home essentials and clothing that bring comfort, style, and character into your everyday life. And here’s the deeper part
